The Intuos series provides the best quality reproduction of pen to digital information. These are a favorite among artists wishing to create digital masterpieces. I purchased the Intuos 3 a few years ago; with it I took notes, kept a journal, and drew. Microsoft OneNote goes perfectly with most pen inputs. Thanks to OneNote, all my notes from college are contained in numerous, easily organized, digital notebooks.
