Levon Bliss’ mosaics of insects, which can be explored on his website: Microsculpture, inspire me to achieve a higher quality in my own work with Meteorite Thin Sections. Bliss accomplishes what I have been envisioning. His skill with scene lighting is remarkable. The results are spectacular. And it seems that I should’ve started my work with the Nikon D810 rather than messing around with 3 and 5 megapixel specialized microscopy cameras.

Great pictures of the Moon from Chinese lander:
The equisite details of cellular life are quite remarkable. Understanding how life continuously exists and reproduces in all parts of the world and the universe is beyond anything I could ever imagine. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoy spending time admiring the microscopic biology all around us; which is why I love David S. Goodsell’s book, The Machinery of Life. You can view many of the pictures here.
